Login Problems

This troubleshooter should help you get into elligence if there is a problem. Of course, the problem might not be something that is immediately clear, but the steps suggested should cut down on the time it takes to tell more about the problem before contacting our Support Team.

If you cannot log into elligence, you should get an error message telling you what the problem is. Which of the following error messages are you seeing?

• Either your login was denied or you are not permitted to open any databases.
• The specified Application server can be found, but IIS is not responding.
• No compatible server can be found at ServerName. This could be due to incorrect Application Server Name or IP Address or network connections may be preventing you from reaching the server.
• Your License is missing or invalid. Please contact your technical support representative.
• License has expired. Please contact your technical support representative.
• Application server is valid, but the Data server cannot be accessed.
• Application server is valid, but elligence libraries cannot be accessed.
• I get a message when I log in that says I have to install a new version of elligence.
