If you got this message, then it means that the MDsuite server is on the network, but IIS is not responding.
Internet Information Services.
A collection of Microsoft Services
which handle web requests, File Transfer Protocol, and email.
MDsuite uses IIS to communicate between the Server
and the workstations.
Generally, when this happens, it affects all the workstations that access MDsuite. Try to log in on another workstation, just to see if you still get the error.
This tells us that one of two things are true:
I'm going to have you go to the server and run a command that will restart IIS. (Normally, we'd have to get everyone to log out of MDsuite first, but obviously that's not going to be a problem in this case.)
In order to do this, you'll have to be able to log onto the server directly, as an administrative user. If you don't know an administrative username and password to log onto the server directly, then please contact your local system administrator or support technician.
You may wish to print this page by pressing [Ctrl] P or by clicking the Print link above, so that you will have these instructions on hand at the server.
On the server:
cmd and press Enter. A DOS Command Prompt will open.iisreset and press Enter.Once that is completed, close the Command Prompt window, and log out of the server. Return to your workstation and try to log in again.
Please restart this troubleshooter, based on the situation at the other users' machines. If you get completely stuck, feel free to Contact Support.
I'd like you to make sure that you are entering exactly the same Application Server
name as the other users when you log into MDsuite.
This situation is very strange, and will require more technical assistance than I can provide. Please Contact Support and let them know what is happening.
