If you are seeing this message, then it means that your computer cannot access the server.
First of all, are others in your office having the same problem? If not, I'd like you to check what they are entering for the Application Server
when they log into elligence.
Most likely, this is a problem with your network. You should report this problem to the person who supports the hardware and networking in your office. But, before you do, here are some things that you should do so that you have some useful information ready when you call.
cmd and press [Return]. A Microsoft DOS prompt will appear on your screen.ping servername.Check to see if the internet works. Open up a website and see if you get any errors.
The network cable most likely is plugged into the back of your computer. It looks like a standard telephone cable, but is just a bit larger. If you see that it is unplugged or loose, try pushing it back in to see if that solves the problem.
Important: Be very careful when handling any hardware. Make sure that you do not accidentally unplug anything, as this could cause other systems to fail.
